This piano comes to us in trade with the previous owners moving up to a small grand piano.
The Yamaha P2 46″ Studio Upright piano is made in Japan . . . and that’s Important!
The “P” Series pianos are built with high-end quality and features and with Yamaha’s care and attention to detail, giving them excellent tonal reproduction and the sensitive, quick responsiveness of the Yamaha keyboard and action mechanism. DO NOT confuse them with the Yamaha C108. First, its height is actually 114 cm at a taller dimension than C108. It offers the player a larger soundboard and bigger sound than found in the shorter beginner models such as Yamaha LU80, LU90, C108 and JU109. Secondly, the P2 is made with walnut lustre solid wood rather than C108 chipped wood.
Finished in beautiful walnut, it has been well maintained and, except for one scrape on the right side (see photo), it shows only signs of normal household wear and tear. It also includes the original matching bench.
The piano has been properly inspected, tuned, regulated and the hammers reshaped to bring it to good condition.
