Description
As a pianist, composer and arranger, I took a close look at several “pop” songs I had written over the years and filed away. In looking at their message, I finally came to grips with the fact that what I had written did not fit current “pop” culture – but felt it did fit into the country music genre. And so was born a newly arranged collection of country-rooted songs built on honest storytelling, lived-in emotion, and melodies that linger.
These tracks explore love, regret, and quiet perseverance with a grounded, down-to-earth voice—simple, sincere, and driven by the kind of truths that feel familiar the first time you hear them.
This collection delivers a smooth, relatable listening experience—crafted for moments when subtlety speaks louder than spectacle.
For those who have heard these tunes, especially “No Ordinary Man” and my novelty tribute to Oregon, “Can’t Stand The Rain,” they have been well received. I hope you will enjoy them too!
