Just arrived and  a real find for the person who's looking for a great piano -
but is budget minded and not as concerned about cosmetics!

This is a 1969 Yamaha 42" console that plays GREAT and has been very
well maintained inside (see photos). Aside from a few small marks and chips
on the case that do not affect the playing (see photo), the keys, action and
sound board are in excellent condition.

As for its cosmetics . . . we're showing photos when it arrived so you can
see the "worst" it could be. We will be sprucing it up a bit prior to putting it
on the floor; however, it presently is not a show piece. It has taken some
hard hits externally. Fortunately, nothing regarding its playability has been
affected. (Of course, with some light sanding/filling, one could repaint the
case in black lacquer!)

The real "furniture" issue has to do with the right front leg. It is broken
on the bottom (see photo comparison). Someone handy could fashion an
extension and fix the problem, but we're in hopes we find someone mainly
wants a great playing instrument at a great price - and finds the cosmetics
secondary.

The piano has a terrific tone and incredible bass range. And, most
importantly, it's a YAMAHA that holds its value!

The original bench was in pretty bad condition as well so we will be
including a good quality used bench.

Make an appointment to audition it soon - it won't last long!
